Dr. Madjimbaye (“Madji”) Namde is originally from Arizona, but with a parent in the foreign service, was raised around the world in N’Djamena, London, Lagos, and Manila. He earned a BS in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University and his MD from Duke University. His residency was at the University of Cincinnati where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Namde worked as faculty at Vanderbilt University before joining WEPPA in 2013. He currently serves as the Chair and Medical Director of WakeMed Cary, is on the WEPPA Board of Directors, and is part of the “travel team” that works to integrate our newer facilities. Recently, Dr. Namde earned an MBA from UMass-Amherst with a focus in healthcare administration. He is also the President-Elect of the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians.
