Dr. Alex Warren is originally from North Carolina. He earned BS in Biochemistry from N.C. State University in 2008, and then attended the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University for his medical degree in 2012. Dr. Warren completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Palmetto Health (now Prisma Health) in Columbia, South Carolina, where he also served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Warren joined WEPPA in 2019 when WEPPA began staffing at UNC Health Nash, and serves as the Medical Director.
