WEPPA provides a number of programs in partnership with Campbell University, Meharry Medical College, East Carolina University, and Wake Forest University. See more information about each program below.
Campbell University MPAP 510
Students participate in all aspects of emergency medical care. They will interview, evaluate, and examine patients presenting to the ED. Students present all patients cared for to their precepting clinician. The clinical preceptor will guide emergency procedures and treatment. Patient encounters must be logged with the PA program. Students will be graded on preceptor evaluations and final examinations.

Meharry Medical College GSPA 713
This four-week EM rotation is designed to allow the physician assistant student to participate in the medical decision-making process while developing the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide care in the emergency medicine setting. The student will be able to develop skills in emergency treatment and actions to sustain life and manage various acute, life-threatening medical, surgical, and behavioral health clinical problems specific to the emergency department.

East Carolina University PADP 6350
This four-week clinical course emphasizes evaluating and managing emergency and surgical problems seen in the ED.

This four-week clinical course provides the PA student with experience in triage, evaluation, and management of patients in the emergency department setting.
