Dr. Mealin graduated with a BS in biology and a BS in plant biology from N.C. State University in 2010. He then completed medical school in 2015 at the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Virginia Campus, followed by residency in emergency medicine at Jefferson Northeast in Philadelphia, PA. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Mealin joined WEPPA in 2019. One of his passions is EMS / pre-hospital emergency medicine. He currently serves as medical director for Lenoir County EMS and assistant medical director for Johnston County EMS.
