Dr. Damilola Joseph is a second-generation Nigerian American who grew up in Maryland. She graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at Cornell Medical College, her pediatric residency training at Duke University, and her pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Joseph is double-boarded in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency medicine and joined WEPPA in 2012. She currently serves as the WakeMed Children’s Emergency Department Medical Director.
