Dr. Jill Benson is originally from Illinois. She has a BS in Biology from the University of Illinois, where she also earned her MD. Dr. Benson completed her residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, and her Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center. Dr. Benson joined WEPPA in 2002. She currently serves on the WEPPA Board of Directors and is also active with the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians, where she has served as president and on many committees.
