Dr. Sackmann earned his BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009 and his MD from Temple University School of Medicine in 2014. He returned to Chapel Hill to complete his Emergency Medicine residency in 2017, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Sackmann joined WEPPA immediately after residency and has been board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine since 2018.
