Leadership

Ryan Cooper, MD was born in Florida and raised in North Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree at NC State, his medical degree from ECU Brody in 2011, and completed a dual combined residency in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He joined WEPPA in 2016 and has served as the Emergency Department Stroke Champion and Sepsis Champion, supporting department-wide stroke and sepsis initiatives.
