Seth Bleier, MD, FACEP grew up in upstate New York. He received his BS at Rutgers College in 1998 and his MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2002. Seth then moved to Chapel Hill to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2002-2005. After residency, Seth immediately joined Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA) and has been a member of this group ever since. Seth has served on multiple committees and has held a number of positions within the organization, currently serving as Vice President of Finance. Seth also enjoys contributing to the UNC medical student and residency education by serving as an adjunct faculty member for UNC and core faculty for the joint UNC-WakeMed Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program regularly working with Emergency Medicine Residents, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellows, and rotating medical students. Outside of WEPPA, Seth serves on the national American College of Emergency Physician’s Reimbursement Committee and is currently the Chair of the Reimbursement Committee for the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians. Seth lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children.
